After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you for a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point, Research Institute of Technology, Do Drul Chorten, Banjakhri Waterfalls, Government Institute of Cottage Industry (closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday), and Orchid House Flower Show. Return to the hotel in the evening and spend the rest of the time at leisure.
Get up early, have a heavy breakfast, and leave for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a beautiful alpine lake located close to the Indo-China border. The lake is considered sacred by the locals and remains frozen during winter. Enjoy playing in snow and a Yak ride. Proceed further to the legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, known for its historical significance and surrounded by picturesque mountains. In the evening, return to the hotel and spend the rest of the time at leisure.
Optional tour to Nathula Pass: You can opt for an excursion to Nathula Pass, located on the Indo-China border, on extra supplementary cost. The permit for Nathula Pass needs to be confirmed 24 hours prior to the trip, and it remains closed on Monday and Tuesday for tourists. Please note that organizing a permit for Nathula Pass at the last moment is not possible and requires proper documentation, including four passport-sized photographs and a valid photo identity card such as a voter ID, passport, or driving license.
